CERTIFICATE IV IN LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT
This course will give you the opportunity to advance your skills in the two domains of leadership and management. This encompasses the ability to initiate how to plan, organise, implement and monitor the success of teams within organisations. It will equip you the all the necessary skills to apply in the workforce and enhance your professional position. Students undertaking this course will develop a vast scope of senior leadership and management competencies including managing finances, organising the marketing process, managing organizational change and evaluate marketing openings. Following on, students will learn how to manage risk, create process to organise and maintain WHS, design and establish compliance management systems, create marketing plans, support and manager continuous development and improvement and design and implement business and strategic plans.
On completion of this qualification, candidates may undertake a range of other Advanced Diploma qualifications to further enhance their career opportunities in their chosen field. Candidates may also choose to seek entry into an undergraduate degree such as a Bachelor of Business at an Australian Higher Education Provider (subject to the Higher Education Provider’s course entry requirements). Together with substantial professional experience in leadership and management (more than two years) graduates of this course may be eligible to gain entry into a number of post-graduate courses such as a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration, Graduate Certificate in Management or Master of Business Administration.
Participants will also be eligible to seek employment working in a small, medium or large enterprise, in diverse types of industries within the private sector. Graduates with limited prior work experience should enter into the industry in positions such as Administration Officer, Administration Coordinator or other related position. Graduates with substantial professional experience are suited to apply for positions titles as Area Manager, Department Manager or Regional Manager.
